FAQ's

Q: What denomination is GPCC affiliated with?
A: GPCC believes and teaches what is written in Bible.  We do not add or subject from it; therefore, we would answer that we are non-denominational.  We are part of Gateway Church.  You can find a link on our website. 

Q: What do you teach your children?
A: Please see the program tab at the top of the page and click on curriculum.  In a very brief nutshell we teach all kindergarten readiness skills and well as Christian values such as loving and forgiving. 

Q: Do you require immunizations?
A: Yes, we require updated immunizations and a recent physical.  You may choose to opt out based on religious or health reasons. 

Q: Do you have a nurse on staff?
A: We have a nurse.  Her name is Vicki and she works very hard to make sure everyone’s files are up to date.  She updates us on current illnesses going around, maintains our medication delegation, and answers our health related questions.  Vicki also is a wealth of information and can refer our families to certain organization based on their needs, such as respite care, non-insured care, and eye/ear screening. 

Q: Do I have to have a set schedule?
A: The short answer is yes because we bill based on a set schedule.  We cannot switch days, however we do try to work with extenuating circumstances when necessary.  Ask our director for further explanation in this matter.

Q: Do you bus children to school?
A: We have the ability and are currently bussing to two schools: Ridgeview in the afternoons and Woodmen Hills in the morning. Depending on when your school starts and ends we would be happy to add it to our bus run! Remember, we are currently only bussing children through 6 years old.
